I’ve spent weeks belly aching internally about the look of the website, all the things I want to do – get back to, and delight in again and I’ve decided to take my own advice; perfection is the enemy of now. If I don’t have something to refine, then I’m lost to the worlds in my head.

So here goes.

Something.

And we’ll figure everything else out as we go; because WordPress has evolved to be so simply complicated that I’m blown by how tangled I am in the backend. But, that’s been fun too – knowing that I absolutely can and allowing myself to have fun messing it all up and fixing it again. So, if you click on the site and nothing works – patience – refresh in a few and I should have unbroken both of our hearts.

on Content Creation:

Am I a content creator or do I happen to create content? I’m not sure which side of that I’m on. What I do know is that I miss the process; having an idea, thinking it through and executing. I don’t share a good 90% of what I write or record but the sermon is for the preacher first yeah? Yeah.

I do miss co-creating. I’ve had to reconcile being in these content creating streets ALONE. Shout outs to my former co-creators from Thumbstick Mafia and Three Fifs – it’s really been a hoot and a holler to consistently be around folks who were also highly creative and committed to executing (well).

But I miss production, I miss recording, I miss having fun with my folks and talking about the things we are passionate about. (coughcough)

With that being said; I did lob myself to the timeline and I was graciously invited to ForAllNerds to talk about X-Men 97 – that was a blast!

I would like to do more guest appearances and put myself back out there but I’m not sold on having my own show or creating a show at this time (so please, don’t ask unless your name is Justin).

All of that to say, you’re going to see me out here in these streets one way or the other and I hope you enjoy it or at the very least, I hope that it encourages you to tip your toe back into what brings the light of creativity back into your life.

Let me shake this dust off real quick and finish these posts.
