Its rare that first episodes draw me in as aggressively as this past Sunday’s Lovecraft Country. I immediately purchased the book after watching the pilot.
Smart, black characters who were larger than life in their own respective rights but all together, at the same time – shit got wild and they didn’t fold. History, conspiracy and a bit of scifi?!

A friend said that I could use their HBO , so fingers crossed . I love horror and sci fi style shows , and I was happy they were making more POC as protaganists too .
